The Manor park legend has it that the Manor Park��came about as a result of the fact that it was under an Earlsdom in ancient and not to recent times�that unlike popuar belief that it was originally a workmens town they were actually the domains of Earls and Dukes the persons residing there being their subjects since the Duke was responsible in the olden days for Local administration the Earl had the position of a deputy Duke or a Duke in waiting who succeded a Duke when a Duke passed off. Ordinary folk it is believed resided in Manor Park itself while more priviledged and wealthy Folk resided in the nearby Wanstead.Whatever the Legend you all have an opportunity to air your views send an email to William at blackboners@hotmail.com

Nighttime in Romford

Nighttime anywhere is always a delight�i guess after a hard days work you would all like to relax and properly too with friends i suppose take a visit to Romford it is one of the cities and towns of Eastlondon developing everyday and it is quite a sight to view and see there are bars and clubs for everyone there is even a gay bar for both lesbians and homosexuals to vist and enjoy if you are that sort of person the names of places to visit are endless

you have nightclubs such as branigans, time and envy, extended pubs and bars such as TheGoose,Yates,�Edwards, Plaice,among many others�The Plaice�was recently closed down for refurbishment Romford is quite a sight at night and the evidence is there for you all to see with the huge brewery dome welcoming you on your way in there are always�hundreds and thousands�of persons walking the club circuit every night wearing the latest designer apparel or latest casual wear..kudos

The strategic town of Stratford

Hi to you all nothing attracts my attention other than something that seems unusual or something out of ordinary

just like humans there are also cities and towns here in london that fit the type take Stratford for instance in east london one of the strategic towns of East london its posture is like that of a big gateway for persons residing in and out of london to come in and out of Eastlondon�it is also the home of business services offices and its nightlife is one of unlimited entertainment with its bars pubs and night clubs it is central to adjoining towns such as Maryland, Forest gate,and it�is just a long walk down the road to Eastham.

Folktales has it that the town Stratford was named as such to signify�the local folk�who live a straight life of are to start to live a straight life hence you have the term Strat meaning straight and ford meaning common so if you put the two words together you would have stratford meaning straight common what a beautiful word you might� say yes it is just like stratford itself it has one of the largest shopping facilities in Eastlondon and persons residing there always have a nice smile on their faces everyday to signify happiness so you see Stratford is in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ilford Town

Hi it is your friend William here i hope you enjoyed my piece on the town of Manor Park

it is written in my other blog at http://williamsaint.webonsites.com

I want to write todays piece on Ilford another of the interesting towns in Eastlondon

Ilford unlike Manor Park just down the road is a very busy town you have a large jewish population

and an Anglo population Ilford is an historic town and the population are more vibrant and active from observations there is a lot for all to enjoy with its exotic clubs and pubs and bars and large central library

the population is mainly christain but you have an Indian population and a good number of blacks

It has a beautiful town centre with a row of shops and bookshops you also have something for less fortunate ones and Ilford has its own pound and penny shops down the road you have more affluent whites in the Redbridge area

and if you are heading in the other direction you would be heading towards barking another largely anglo populated town so the next time you drive past the East end of london stop at Ilford for your shopping or to go to church

Hi have any of you recently been to the Town of Romford if you have done so you would notice the changing face of romford with its new shopping facility new clubs and shops springing up and down the Romford axis one of the highlights i saw recently was a new block of condominiums being built in the city centre where you have an array of banking facilities it is quite a delight????

So the next time you visit the east end of london try out romford and its beautiful shops and clubs
